Recognition for Service

In the first September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (2002-2003), SPBMC represented 362 firefighters seriously injured, and the families of firefighters who died, as a result of the 9/11 World Trade Center Terrorists Attack. We recovered more than $260 Million on their behalf, charging no fee – waiving more than $25 Million in legal fees. Not taking any fees was our way of giving back to the community of New York Bravest, who had lost so much on day.

Pro Bono

2016 Delagate’s Convention

Indeed, at the 2016 Delagates Convention, Michael N. Block was awarded the Seven Seals Award. The award was a surprise to Michael. It was given to him because of the pro bono hours spent advocating for military veterans in the FDNY.
